Alfred Molina is returning for the third 'Spider-Man 3'

Alfred Molina is returning as Doctor Octopus for ‘Spider-Man 3’. The evil Doctor Octopus first appeared in Tobey Maguire’s 2004 ‘Spider-Man’ sequel.

The actor Alfred Molina, who is Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, will reprise his role for Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 3’. He won’t be the only one to make a comeback for the movie. In ‘Spider-Man 3’, Kirsten Dunst will return as MJ. And, Jamie Foxx is returning as Electro. He previously played in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Andrew Garfield will be back for the third Spider-Man. Also, it is expected Emma Stone to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy. Moreover, Sony/Marvel can bring back Tobey Maguire. Zendaya, Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon are all reprising their roles. Benedict Cumberbatch is also returning as Doctor Strange.

Otto Octavius or Doctor Octopus was depicted much more sympathetically compared to his comic book counterpart.

When Release Spider-Man 3?

Spider-Man 3 kicked off principal photography in late October. And Sony will release Spider-Man 3 in theaters on Dec. 17, 2021.

Jon Watts will direct Spider-Man 3. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers writing the script.
