A spin-off, and a sequel to Breaking Bad, the series explores the journey of Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill, from an ex-conman to an earnest lawyer to a greedy attorney. On his quest for success, he goes through a series of unsavory situations, a complicated love-life, befriends a morally challenged and retired police officer, and gets involved with a Mexican drug cartel.
The sixth season of Better Call Saul is expected to have 13 episodes. All 13 episodes of Better Call Saul Season 6 will be released weekly.
When Is the Release Date of Better Call Saul Season 6?
Better Call Saul was renewed for a sixth and final season in January 2020. Although there is no confirmed date for the release so far, AMC confirmed that the final season will release in the first quarter of 2022.
Bob Odenkirk said: “I have very mixed feelings. I don’t think you can watch the show, and I can’t play this guy, without growing to want him to succeed, and liking him, and wanting to be a better version of himself… I’m not sure that’s where he’ll end up, though. I do like him. I think he’s got some good skills. He just doesn’t know where to put them. But also, I’ll be happy to move onto other characters, because I have played him a long time.”
Peter Gould (showrunner and executive producer) thanked fans: “From day one of Better Call Saul, my dream was to tell the complete story of our complicated and compromised hero, Jimmy McGill – now AMC and Sony are making that dream come true. We couldn’t be more grateful to the fans and critics who are making this journey possible. Next month, we start work on the sixth and final season – we’re going to do our damnedest to stick the landing.”
