The second Euphoria special episode, “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob,” will premiere early on HBO Max on January 22, two days ahead of its HBO debut.
The Emmy-winning HBO drama series Euphoria’s second season hasn’t begun filming yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production on the second season is expected to begin in 2021.
What Will Happen in The second Euphoria special episode, “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob”?
The previous special episode of Euphoria, “Trouble Don’t Last Always” focused on the character Rue Bennett (played by Zendaya). The second special episode will return to the Christmas holiday. This special episode, directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, centers entirely on the character Jules (played by Hunter Schafer) “over the Christmas holiday as she reflects on the year” according to the official announcement.
Jules says in the trailer: “Rue is the first girl who didn’t just look at me. She actually saw me — me that’s underneath the million layers that’s not me.”
Schafer, apart from starring in, also serves as the co-writer and co-executive producer on the second special episode.
Zendaya, Levinson, Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady, and Gary Lennon executive produce the series, with Will Greenfield serving as a co-executive producer.
