Lucifer Season 5: What We Know So Far

The Netflix series Lucifer’s season 5A released on Netflix. Season 5B of the series created by Tom Kapinos has concluded filming. But, season 5B has not yet been released on Netflix because of the pandemic. You can find everything we know so far about Lucifer season 5B below.

The showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich said about season 5: “We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms.”

Also, Modrovich shared a letter on Twitter. She said: “While we feel just as sad as many of you do that this marvellous ride is coming to an end, a fight won’t change things right now.

The whole reason they decided to announce that it was our fifth and final season simultaneously is because they know how devoted and passionate our fans (and we!) are and wanted to give y’all (and us!) as much time as they could to accept and process the news. And for that we’re incredibly grateful.”

When Will Release Lucifer Season 5B on Netflix?

Lucifer season 5A premiered on Netflix in August. Season 4 and 5A are available to watch now on Netflix. However, season 5B of Lucifer that is one of the series affected by the pandemic has not yet been released on Netflix. There is speculation on the release date of season 5B. Joe Henderson said about that: “I mean, it’s finished SHOOTING. We still have plenty to do before it’s ready for Netflix! (I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up about timeline)”

We expect that season 5B of Lucifer will release on Netflix in early 2021.

What Will Happen in Lucifer Season 5B?

Season 5A of the American urban fantasy television series Lucifer has ended with the introduction of God (Dennis Haysbert). We saw that Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) duke it out with their brother Michael in the finale of season 5A.

Right now, we know that there will be a musical episode, titled “Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam” in season 5.

Lauren German told Entertainment Tonight: “Lucifer is in a difficult place, and Tom goes into song… and I was in my trailer just crying at how beautiful the moment is and just knowing the moment in the story, it brought tears to my eye.

It is so absolutely touching and gorgeous… You can feel what he is feeling, through the singing, and it’s beautiful.”

Moreover, Debbie Gibson will guest star in the musical episode as Shelly Bitner. Eve (Inbar Lavi) will be back and Matthew Bohrer will appear as Donovan Glover.
